Amelia Earhart STEM Challenge
Our Foyle College Team attended The Amelia Earhart STEM Challenge on Friday, a fun event for Year 9 students hosted at Ulster University’s Magee campus.
Representatives from the Royal Academy of Engineering joined to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Amelia Earhart, who made the first solo flight by a female aviator across the Atlantic before landing in Ballyarnett, and pupils were mentored on the day by engineering students from Ulster University.
